The Borough is fortunate enough to have many documents (newspapers, books, photos) in its archives that catalog our Borough's great history. Several have already been digitized, and we hope to digitize more in the near future. Click on the cover of a document to view the full document. "75th Anniversary West View Horizons" is a comprehensive history book created to celebrate West View's diamond jubilee, 1980.
This book details the production of "West View - Seven Five," a play about West View that was put on for the diamond jubilee celebration, 1980.
This book details the production of "The Golden Years," a play about West View that was put on for the 50th anniversary celebration, 1955.
This book contains the Borough council meeting minutes from January 24th, 1905 to February 1st, 1908. It is extremely valuable for researching our Borough's early history.
The "West View Community Cook Book" is a vintage cookbook filled with recipes from West View area residents. The exact publication date of the book is unknown, but we estimate it to be from the 1930s/1940s.
